Vicks sedative cough is indicated in the treatment of dry cough which is generally irritating and tickling, flavored with honey.

Composition

ACTIVE INGREDIENT Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 0.133% w / V.

Excipients

Sucrose, Saccharin sodium, Propylene glycol, Alcohol (96%), Sodium-carboxy-methyl-cellulose, Sodium citrate dihydrate, Citric acid anhydrous, Honey flavor (containing honey), Verbena flavor, Sodium benzoate, Polyethylene oxide, Methoxypropanediol , Polyoxystearate 40, Purified water.

Posology

Adults and children over 12 years: 15 ml (equivalent to 3 coffee spoons). Children from 6 to 11 years: 5 ml (equivalent to 1 teaspoon). Children from 2 to 5 years: 2.5 ml (equivalent to ½ teaspoon). These doses can be repeated every 6 hours, up to 4 times a day. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSES.
