Bisolvon linctus is a syrup containing bromhexine hydrochloride. It acts as a mucolytic, facilitating the elimination of mucus from the respiratory tract. It can be used in adults, adolescents, and children 6 years and older with coughs and phlegm production.

Active ingredient

Bromhexine hydrochloride.

Excipients

Benzoic acid, liquid maltitol, sucralose, chocolate flavoring, cherry flavoring, levomenthol, purified water.

Dosage

Adults: 5 - 10 ml 3 times daily. In adults, at the start of treatment, it may be necessary to increase the total daily dose to 48 mg in three divided doses.

Children over 6 years: 2.5 - 5 ml three times a day. It is recommended to take the medicine after meals.

The syrup can be administered to diabetics and children over 6 years of age. It contains neither fructose nor sucrose.
