Esoxx Defence 20 tablets

Esoxx Defence is a medical device indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux, heartburn, epigastric pain, acid regurgitation, or irritating cough related to reflux.

It can be used by adults and children over 6 years old, as it works through a unique mechanical action that soothes and protects the esophageal mucosa from the irritating effects of gastric acids. Contains chondroitin sulfate and sodium hyaluronate, which create a protective film, while calcium carbonate helps reduce acid production.

Gluten- and lactose-free.

Directions for use and Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years old: take 1-2 tablets after main meals and at bedtime, or as needed if symptoms such as pain and heartburn occur. Children over 6 years: Take 1 tablet after main meals and/or at bedtime, or as needed if symptoms such as pain and heartburn occur, only after consulting your doctor. If necessary, the tablet can be divided in half using the score line. The tablets should initially dissolve in the mouth and then chew. They can also be taken with water or milk.

Warnings and Contraindications

Do not use in case of: renal insufficiency, hypophosphatemia, or known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Use the product after consulting your doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Prolonged use of the product, due to the astringent action of aluminum, may cause constipation.
