StomaDol is a medical device that acts mechanically thanks to the sodium alginate, the HMW mucopolysaccharides and the carbonates it contains, forming a gel that mechanically prevents the upward flow of gastric juices towards the esophagus. Its viscosity allows for uniform distribution across the gastroesophageal region, allowing the ingredients to perform their mucoadhesive function and promote contact of the protective substances with the irritated mucous membranes.

Ingredients

Sodium alginate, HMW mucopolysaccharides, potassium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, water, xylitol, xanthan gum, sodium hydroxide, carbomer, potato protein extract, flavoring, sucralose, chlorhexidine, hexamidine.

Directions for use

Take one single-dose stick after main meals and at bedtime. Shake well before use.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use in case of known or suspected hypersensitivity to one or more components of the product. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if symptoms persist or adverse reactions occur. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date. The expiration date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored properly. The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medications. It is recommended to consult your doctor before use if you are taking other medications regularly or if you are on a very low-salt (sodium) diet.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat sources.

Shelf life in its intact packaging: 36 months.
