Gaviscon oral suspension is indicated for the rapid relief of occasional heartburn symptoms. It forms a protective barrier that floats on the stomach contents, preventing them from rising into the esophagus.
Active ingredients
100 ml contains 500 mg of sodium alginate and 267 mg of sodium bicarbonate.
Excipients
Oral suspension: calcium carbonate, carbomers, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), sodium saccharin, mint flavoring, sodium hydroxide, erythrosine, purified water.
Directions for use
Adults and adolescents (12-18 years): 10-20 ml (second-fourth mark on the measuring cup or 2-4 measuring spoons) after meals and at bedtime. go to bed.
