Dissenten 2 mg 15 tablets

Loperamide-based drug, indicated in the treatment of both occasional and recurrent diarrhea (acute diarrhea and exacerbations of chronic diarrhea).

Active ingredients

Each tablet contains: loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg.

Excipients

Magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose.

How to use

Use in adults: The recommended starting dose is 2 tablets (4 mg). Thereafter, take 1 tablet (2 mg) after each unformed (soft) stool discharge. Do not exceed the maximum dose of 8 tablets (16 mg) per day.

Use in children and adolescents (6 to 17 years of age): The recommended starting dose is 1 tablet (2 mg). Thereafter, take 1 tablet (2 mg) after each unformed (soft) stool discharge. The maximum daily dose is calculated based on body weight (3 tablets / 20 kg weight), but should not exceed 8 tablets per day.

Use in children under 6 years of age: This medicine cannot be given to children under 6 years of age.

Use in patients with liver problems: Take this medicine with caution if you have liver problems
